Rent-a-Green Box is America’s first, comprehensive, zero-waste pack and move solution made entirely from post consumer recycled trash, mined from local landfills. Our mission is to provide relocating business and residences with an authentic and genuine earth friendly packing and moving alternative that will save time, money and Earth. We’re changing the way America packs by moves re-inventing common packing and moving products like cardboard boxes, petroleum based Styrafoam packing peanuts and bubble wrap from end of use, post consumer trash.

We convert massive quantities of end of use, post consumer trash to make really cool earth friendly packing and moving products that replace traditional and expensive supplies like cardboard boxes, bubble wrap, and Styrofoam packing peanuts that are really bad for our Earth.

To date, we have 7 unique products made from various types of post consumer trash. We mine landfills and recycling centers for hard to recycle hdpe #2 plastic bottles, extract millions of used baby diapers, end of life cardboard sludge, end of life newsprint sludge, post consumer packaged food boxes like cereal boxes and frozen food packaging, end of life recycled aluminum cans and tons of plastic bottle caps to make our earth friendly moving products.

Our system is remarkably simple. After determining how many Recopacks you’ll need for your upcoming move with our famous little “Box Buddha” or speaking with one of our eco-agents; we’ll reserve, take payment and e-mail you a confirmation pdf file via e-mail for your order.

On your date of delivery, we’ll deliver the [ recopacks ] direct to your garage. You pack, stack and move. When they’re all unpacked and restacked, just call us and we’ll come and pick’em up from your garage. or place of business ( for commercial moves). It’s just that simple… it’s moving made simple.

Why are we cutting down our trees to make a cardboard box to pack and move with it once maybe twice, just to throw it away in a landfill, when we can use our trash as a new resource to change the way we pack and move in America.

When you pack and move with a new or used cardboard boxes it’s a triple negative. It’s bad for the ecology since we have to cut down a tree to make a cardboard box. It’s bad for the environment because when you recycle a cardboard box, about 40% is used to make another box and the 60% non usable sludge is either burned releasing C02 emissions and soot into our atmosphere or it’s dumped into a landfill. And it’s bad for our economy as we spend a lot of time, energy, fuel and resources to recycle this material.

The real problem is that when the cost of gasoline costs more than $3.00 a gallon, it’s just not cost effective to recycle used cardboard boxes, so they end up in a landfill. Industry then focuses on cutting down new trees, to make more boxes, that again will end up in a landfill. When you Rent-a-Green box, we stop this vicious cycle of ecological and environmental destruction. We detox our landfills by using trash to re-invent the way we pack and move in America.

And when you stop to think about it- without trees we’re all just fish out of water!
