Rent A Green Box- “Become A Cardboardless Company”
posted by Paul Vaggen | September 18th, 2008
It’s no secret that the U.S. is experiencing some hard and uncertain times in the financial world. The rest of the world is holding its breath and wondering what is going to happen, the whole AIG situation isn’t helping either. Enough of that though, I am not trying to further the financial worries of people, but I will say that green business moves and green technologies may provide a good boost.
Companies are stating to realize both the environmental and financial benefits to making “green decisions”. I recently came across the article “Haworth Inc. Tests Ending Use of Cardboard….” and I pleased to see such a shining example.
Via the article, Haworth found that “By using ’straps, bars and plywood tiers, the company fit an average of about 65 percent more products into its trailers, reducing the number of loads needed and eliminating cardboard waste”.
Now I know what your thinking, seems like a no brain’er that this would work, but the corporate world is a different world, so you gotta take that into consideration.
Now if you are intrigued by this cardboardless shipping idea, you may want to consider Spencer Brown’s “rentagreenbox.com“. I’m telling you, this guy and his company are the real deal and have the right idea to make an idea like a company without cardboard possible. Watch the video to learn more about this great company.
Keep it Green,
Paul
