recocubes
“ the replacement for petroleum based Styrofoam packing peanuts”
This compostable packing cube is made from 100% recycled newspaper sludge and is the replacement for petroleum based Styrofoam packing peanuts or corn based bio-degradable packing materials. After newsprint is recycled, about 40% of the material is reusable and the remaining 60% is too mushy to make into more newsprint stock.
This “sludge” is either burned or dumped into a landfill. We take this end life cycle resource and remake it into a compostable packing peanut called the Recocube. We start by adding beneficial sugars, starches and B-12 (plant food vitamins) and then compress it into this really powerful cube. When you’re done unpacking, all you need to do is toss them into your garden, planter box, or container- water them a bit and they’ll become compost for your plants, shrubs and trees! It’s one way to say “hello” to your new trees and plants and they’ll return the favor by turning super green to thank you for moving in an earth friendly way!
” the replacement for petroleum based Styrofoam packing peanuts”
Amazing, uber green, and is such a welcome addition to our commitment to ” detox the landfills” and use trash to re-inevent how we pack and move in America. We’re honored to be part of this revolutionary product. Here’s how this stuff works. Image all of those cereal boxes, food related packed goods and just about anything that’s put into a paper fiber box or paper container. It’s recycled and the fibers that are no longer good enough for another packaged product are made into 100% post consumer, recycled flat sheets ready to make Expandos. We take these sheets and then convert them into these cool little triangles that interlock, brace and block your property from moving around in transit. What’s so amazing is that when you’re done, just put them back into the supplied recobag and we’lll reuse them again and again. Eventually, when they wear out, we just recycle them into more Expandos. Another zero waste, trash based, green sensible packing and moving alternative from rentagreenbox!
recopaper
“ the replacement for wrapping/tissue/packing paper”
When you’re done unpacking, all you need to do is wad it into balls and till them into your garden, planter box, or container- water them a bit and they’ll become compost for your plants, shrubs and trees! It’s one way to say “hello” to your new trees and plants and they’ll return the favor by turning super green to thank you for moving in an earth friendly way!
This compostable packing paper is made from 100% recycled newspaper sludge and is the replacement for wrapping, tissue or traditional packing paper. After newsprint is recycled, about 40% of the material is reusable and the remaining 60% is too mushy to make into more newsprint stock. This “sludge” is either burned or dumped into a landfill. We take this end life cycle resource and remake it into a compostable packing sheet called Recopaper. It’s just like the Recocube- but instead of being a cube,w e make it into a flat sheet of compostable packing paper.
recolabel
“ the replacement for traditional moving labels”
Our label is made from 100% end of use starches that are used to make ethanol fuel. When corn or any natural feed stock is processed into fuel- they end up with a bi-product that they can’t feed to cattle or toss back into a field or even a landfill. We take this white chalky starch that’s usually used as a cleaning solvent and mix it with calcium bi-carbonates, natural non-toxic scents and few other secret ingredients to make the first 100% recycled toilet bowl cleaner. Basically, use the label like any normal label. Write the contents on it for each [ recopack ]. When you’re done unpacking, just remove them from the [ recopacks ]. Stick a few together and toss them into any toilet. Watch the water fizz, foam and bubble. When the show stops, just flush away and you’ll see a sparkling clean toilet bowl. It’s another one of our zero-waste, green products that’s sensible, practical and simple and the best part is that’s it’s made from trash!
reco-zips
“the replacement for taping a cardboard box”
Reco-zips are made from 100% recycle plastic bottle caps that we remove from all of those hard to recycle plastic bleach, detergent and household chemistry bottles that are used to make our word famous lime green [ recopacks ].
In the beginning we had a small pile- a few thousand and the more plastic trash we mined from landfills, Spencer realized that we had to do something with all of these bottle caps. He put on his thinking cap and came up with a really smart and simple way to recycle millions and millions of these caps into colorful zip ties that are used to seal and securitize each [ recopack ] while in transit. Slip the recozip into the top hole of the [ recopack ] and pull it tight. When you unpack, cut it and return them back to us and we’ll recycle them into more recozips. What’s amazing is that we’ve been making millions of these and we have millions more to make it’s a simple solution from a never ending supply of hard to recycle plastic trash.
recobag
We heard about a sail maker that was stuck with few thousand of square feet of unusable sail cloth material destined for the landfill. I made a few calls, drove over in my pimped out green waste vegetable-oil powered mercedes benz and stuck a deal with the sail maker. I asked for a few days to figure out who would take this stuff off his hands instead of ending up in a landfill. The next day, I had an ah-ha moment and created the recobag.
Made from 100% non usuable sail boat sail fabric and used to transport recocubes, expandos and flat sheets to customers.
Unzip one side and poor or shake the recocubes, or expandos into the recopack. Make sure that you have at least 2 inches on the bottom and a few inches around each object. Press flat with your hands and then close the recopack lid. When your unpacking, take the same recobag supplied and dump the recocubes or expandos back into the bag and we’ll pick it back up with your order, so nothing enters the landfill. If you have a garden- please use the recocubes as compost. Expandos will work too but take a but longer to break down.
reco-dolly
After thousands of deliveries, we tried about every dolly made in America. Some had great wheels. Others had amazing support plates and balance- but we could not find that one that was perfect and practical to transport our recopacks- so we made our own custom recodolly made from 100% recycled aluminum cans. Our first step was to locate the best wheels in the world. Check. Then we design a support plate that fit all three sixes of [ recopacks ]. Check. The last step was to design a handle system that was comfortable, maneuverable and consumer friendly.
We milled over 100 in the course of 2007 and we finally nailed it. We rent one of the worlds most over designed dollies ever made from recycled soda cans.
Are we proud of the herculean accomplishment to product design? You betcha, because we use recodollies to deliver environmental consciousness in a box. Was it worth the time and money to make a better dolly… my accountant says no- i say we’ll customers love them and that’s all that matters- right?
poopy pallet
48″ x 40″ x 5″ When your done unpacking all of the Recpacks, place them on the Poopy Pallet and call us. We’ll come pick’em up! No more breaking down cardboard boxes and chasing around all of those pesky little peanuts…
It’s a whole new way to move… it’s the earthfriendlymoving way!
The Pallet is made from over 700 recycled baby diapers and yes they were once used- but have no fear… they were cleaned, sanitized and the anaerobic polymers ( the stuff that will never break down in our landfills) is used like bindingg filament to make the Poppy Pallet. It’s remarkably strong and durable.

on the drawing board- chalk board ideas
over thousands of deliveries we have seen a few people pack and move. since we only rent moving boxes that save you time, money and earth-we’re always scratching our heads asking the basics questions- can I invent a better way to make it easier, faster and cheaper to help my customers with their move? and the here’s what we have on the drawing board for the next few years. Please feel free to leave us your comments on these products and any ideas that would help you pack and move more efficiently from our faq page.
speed pack:
packing dishes and glasses is labor intensive and very time consuming. you have to pull out a plate and place it on the flat sheet of paper. flip fold the paper over and then place another plate and repeat until you cant fold the paper over another plate. pretty simple stuff but it takes a lot of time and materials. i’m working on a new product line that is based on speed packing your dishes, glasses and kitchen wares.. and the debut product is called “speed pack”. it’s made from 100% recycled foam common to shoe liners and couches. It works like a foam accordion. its compressed until you attach the two rubber loops to one side of the [ recopack ] and then extend the accordion to hook the other set of loops to the other side of the recopack. with the speed pack attached to the inside of the recopack all you have to do is slide your plates into each open section until the [ recopack ] is filled up with dishes. the same design is in the works for glasses and stemware. the only difference is that instead of a long opening, you’ll have a square opening ideal for cups, mugs, glasses and stemware. simple. easy to use and creates zero waste when you pack and move.
garment carrier:
when most people get ready to pack and move the first thing they start to look at is their over stuffed closets. clothes for some of our clients are their life and we here ya loud and clear. what do they say- it doesn’t matter how you feel- it’s how you look! one of the biggest problems that we see with the typical wardrobe box is that when you transfer the clothes from closet rod to garment box and transport them to your new closet, everything has fallen off and is balled up the floor defeting the entire purpose. we see this problem so often that with our thinking caps on, we’re working on a very unique system that will eliminate your clothes from falling during transport and will allow you transfer your clothes faster than ever before- about twice as fast in our initial testing.
rfid chipping each recopack:
what is RFID you ask? the acronym stands for low radio frequency identification and can enable you to track and monitor the location of your recopacks in transit any where in the nation. the use of these chips are very commonplace to many industries and were trying to figure out a practical way to introduce this technology into our system, so you can prevent anyone from tampering with your contents inside of each recopack. it’s a product that we want to offer as we roll out our national expansion.
expandos
Expandos are the ultimate solution for protecting your most valuable and breakable property in transit- period. Crystal vases, Lladro, sport memorabilia, figurines, rare collectibles, etc.. are safest with Expandos.
We’re so confident in this revolutionary replacement for Styrofoam packing peanuts that we packed up a large [ recopack ] with 12 fresh farm eggs and shipped them overnight to New York City to a tv show producer that did a segment on us for eco biz. Let’s just say there was no egg on our face when then opened up the expando and egg filled [recopack.

All of the products presented here are made from 100% recycled, post consumer, end of life trash. We mine the landfills of America and have re-invented the replacement for all of those expensive and wasteful packing and moving products like new and used cardboard boxes, petroleum based bubble wrap and Syrafoam packing peanuts. We’re giving new meaning to the 4 R’s of recycling and converting trash into a new untapped resource- one that detoxes our landfills, preserves our limited natural resources and provides the first zero-waste, environmentally friendly alternative when you pack and move your property.
geami packing paper
“the replacement for petroleum based bubble wrap”
The word Geami means friends of the earth and the way this paper works for the environment- it think it should be called “Best Friends Forever” of the Earth.
Geami is the modern day eco friendly replacement for petroleum based bubble wrap and it’s made from 100% recycled cardboard sludge. Geami is made right on our trucks from our own self generated power supply, in rolls of 100 or 200 linear feet and is half the cost of bubble wrap.
This paper is really designed for higher end breakables like china, porcelain, expensive stemware and heirloom collections. If the item has sentimental or emotional importance in you and or your families life, you want to use Geami, so you can pack your valuables with piece of mind. It’s also great for wrapping picture frame corners and vertical lamps.
All you need to do is place it on a scratch resistant counter with a back splash, pull out about 18 inches of paper, place your object in the center and roll the paper around the object and tear away from the main roll. Tuck both sides into the center and fold the paper over and it will self lock- kinda of like velcro. No tape needed. What’s amazing about this paper, is when you unpack and unwrap Geami, place it in a large storage box and reuse it to ship anything that needs extra protection or padding through out the year- especially around special events and holidays. If you don’t want to save it, just place all of it in 1 or 2 Recopacks and we’ll recycle it into more Geami paper for the next customer. Another cool, sensible and practical zero packing alternative made from 100% recycled post consumer trash.
